{1} When you think of "old movies", what immediately comes to mind?
"It's a Wonderful Life", "The Sound of Music", and "Gone With the Wind". Okay, one of those is a musical, and I've never seen the third, but whatever.
{2} Who's one of your favorite film or literary heroes (or heroines) and why?
Ah, I'll have to divide this in two, because I'd have far too many answers otherwise. My favorite film hero is Aragorn from Lord of the Rings, because he's just plain awesome. (Next in line are Mr. Thornton and Mr. Knightley.) And my favorite literary hero is Jean Valjean from "Les Miserables", followed by Aragorn again.
{3} If you could live in a movie, which one would it be and why?
Oh boy. Living in Lord of the Rings would be amazing, as would Narnia.
{4} Music has changed a lot since 1900 - which "modern" type of music is your favorite?
Hmm, I guess movie soundtracks would win here. They never fail to absolutely delight me.
{5} Any songs you'd like to share with us?
Just this one, my new favorite:
{6} If your life had a soundtrack, what would it be?
My life's soundtrack would be disorganized at first glance, but with a strong constant theme throughout.
{7} When do you start counting down to your birthday?
Oh, about two months in advance. It's never too early to look forward to it!
{8} What makes your birthday special?
I always go out for lunch with my dad, and since my brother's birthday is the day before, we get to share all sorts of secrets.
{9} Do you ever wish you were born in a different month?
In a word, yes. I always wanted to have a pool party to celebrate my birthday, but the late January weather just doesn't cooperate.
{10} Pick five words to describe your personality.
These would be energetic, pessimistic, bossy, fun-loving, and hopefully godly as well.
Have an absolutely wonderful birthday, dear Jo! Head on over to join this party!

Yeah for Aragorn! :) Of all the heroes - he is my favorite. And I would love to live in Lord of the Rings too....*sigh*
Thanks for joining the party! And I'm soooooo glad you're back!
Ohhh it's so good to have you posting again. (: Are you still going to see about emailing or no?
It's a Wonderful Life is SO classic. I love Jimmy Stewart. Haha, so many of my fictional heroes come from Lord of the Rings (a place I would LOVE to go--same as Narnia). And my first thought when you said Jean Valjean was, "No. He's mine." Aghh, I love him so much...he's so GOOD.
Movie soundtracks for the win! And though I don't watch Glee, I love the music from it...have you ever heard the original "For Good" from the musical Wicked? It's even better.
That's so cool that your dad takes you to lunch for your birthday. And I agree--these winterish months can be a pain for party-planning. My birthday is in November, and I always complain to my sister, whose is in August. She doesn't get it. ;p
Yippee for long comments and for having you back! Much love, Larkin dear. ♥♥♥
xo, Jenn
I'm so happy your back, Larkin...missed you soo much!
