See this?
See the two expanses of blue? See the warmth, the sea breeze, the sunshine? That's where I was a month ago (in fact, that's me and two of my brothers in the photo), and I would give anything to be back there.
I guess it's called discontentment. That day at the beach, I missed my home so much, but now that I'm home, I miss the beach. Why can't I just be content with where I am, wherever God puts me? Is it because I have a built-in desire for somewhere else, because this earth is not my home? Did I see a bit of heaven in the Gulf of Mexico, and I also see a snatch of it here at home? Perhaps. But that's not an excuse. Right now, wherever that is, I need to be satisfied, because God has given me so much more than I deserve.
Okay, off my soapbox. On to the questions.
first: Just out of curiosity, how old do you think I am? I might be able to tell you come my next birthday in January, but for now, take a guess.
second: Do any of you know sign language? I've become obsessed with it recently, and again, I'm just curious. Indulge me.
until next time,
larkin

7 little note(s):
Beautiful. :)
I already know for a fact how old you are, so you can't hear my "guess." ;) Happy birthday, come January.
Nope, but my sister Analiese took a course in it. I know Grace B is also interested in taking a course at a college in that...have you talked to her?
This post came delivered to my inbox. :) Thanks so much!
I think your at least...15?

Hmmm... are you 16?
~Stephanie
I always thought maybe 15 or maybe a little older.
Hmm. 15 or older? And I can finger spell! Does that count? :P
Hmm, I know what you mean about it being difficult to be content where we are--especially vacation and then coming home again. ;p
Oh dear...you haven't even shown us pictures of yourself, and you want us to guess?? Hmm, I'd have to say 15 or 16. I SO hope you can tell us come January!
I would most likely guess you're turning 16 or 17 in January.
I'm a sign language interpreter at my church, so yes, I know sign language :D
